Analytical Chemist

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate lab equipment and/or perform basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques and utilizing HPLC and GC-MS

• Learns to document test data for reporting purposes

• Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and test results of equipment

• Operate multiple test stations independently and concurrently while maintaining a safe work environment

• Suggest and implement analytical improvements for the quality control lab

• Evaluating results of quality control and implements corrective action when indicated

• Determining performance specifications for new methods

• Work closely with peers, engineers, contractors, maintenance personnel, and management to operate and maintain lab equipment, facility, and local infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors in Chemistry field needed

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Previous chemistry instrumentation experience needed

• Ability to work well in a team and successfully work to deliver against challenging projects and timelines

• MS Office Proficiency needed
