Research & Development Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and research activities in a 100% on-site laboratory setting across formulation and active ingredient labs.
• Prepare and test formulation samples, assessing physical properties and supporting development processes.
• Perform small-scale lab setups and contribute to troubleshooting for manufacturing facilities.
• Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment with precision and care.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations with meticulous detail.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) standards and laboratory safety protocols.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional laboratory teams to support research objectives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
• Assist in scale-up activities and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Material Science, or related scientific field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in research or manufacturing laboratory environments.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and chemical analysis techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a team-based research environment.
• Commitment to maintaining highest standards of safety and scientific integrity.
