QC Technician

Job Description:

• Package seeds in accordance with established guidelines and procedures, ensuring accurate counts, weights, and labeling.
• Inspect seeds for quality, identifying and removing damaged or defective seeds.
• Operate packaging equipment, such as seed counters, fillers, bag sealers, and labelers, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the packaging area, ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized before and after use.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on packaging equipment, escalating any issues to the supervisor or maintenance team as needed.
• Participate in training sessions and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in seed packaging techniques.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED Required
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
