QC Technician

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Operations, to ensure material readiness for production.
• Perform routine sampling and inspection of incoming materials, including components, API, BDS, and excipients, for QC testing.
• Conduct component visual inspection and dimensional analysis, as well as verify instruments as needed.
• Review and generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) for material release from Incoming Quality Control (IQC) testing.
• Coordinate the ordering of external testing and the shipment of samples to external laboratories.
• Ensure laboratory functions, including consumables ordering, daily calibration/verification of instruments, waste management, cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with teams to address quality issues and ensure timely material release.
• Maintain focus on deadlines and prioritize tasks to support the operational readiness of materials.
• Uphold a commitment to quality by ensuring adherence to standards, attention to detail, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or A.S. in a scientific discipline OR High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong math and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with strong self-management and organizational skills.
• Experience in highly regulated environments and knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), LIMS, or other automated data management/analysis systems.
