Job Responsibilities: 

  • Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product dimensions.
  • Document inspection results, deviations, and defects, and communicate findings to the production and quality teams.
  • Conduct functional tests, visual inspections, and sampling following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure adherence to company quality policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and generate reports for internal and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform routine audits of manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality control.
  • Ensure all tools and testing equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector, Six Sigma, or ISO standards) is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or inspection-related roles.
  • Experience with ISO, FDA, or cGMP regulations is preferred, depending on the industry.
  • Previous experience using measuring instruments, blueprints, and quality control software.
