Associate Researcher

Job Description:

• Accurately measure and mix chemicals to create solutions needed for research and development.
• Work under the direction of a Formulator to develop new product formulations.
• Help establish effective cleaning protocols for laboratory and production equipment.
• Ensure R&D and production equipment are cleaned and maintained after each use.
• Conduct standard tests on products under development to ensure quality and performance.
• Assist in preparing and sending samples to external laboratories for additional testing.
• Participate in trials for batching and filling processes to optimize production.
• Collect, organize, and record data, results, and observations from research activities.
• Keep detailed and precise records in a laboratory notebook.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practice regulations to ensure compliance and quality.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the R&D team.

Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field
• 0-3 years of relevant experience industry experience (pharmaceutical preferred)
• Proficiency in a range of laboratory techniques such as cell culture, PCR, ELISA, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
