Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control measurements of materials and products using established methods.

• Assist scientists with routine laboratory testing procedures and prepare materials for use.

• Receive, label, and store samples.

• Clean and sterilize lab equipment and materials, dispose of waste, order and stock supplies, and perform routine maintenance on simple equipment.

• Record and report test results.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-year degree in Chemistry or other related field – Required

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
