Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering and construction activities for the facility, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution of construction phases.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards throughout the construction process.
• Conduct site inspections, review construction progress, and address technical issues as they arise.
• Support procurement efforts by reviewing materials, equipment, and vendor contracts to ensure project requirements are met.
• Assist in reviewing design plans, drawings, and engineering documentation to verify accuracy and feasibility.
• Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders, providing clear communication on project status, challenges, and milestones.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize construction efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably within manufacturing or industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control for large-scale construction projects.
• Ability to work on-site as needed and travel to project locations as required.
