Indianapolis $25.00 - $30.00 p/h p/h Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct precise and timely analyses of in-process, release, and stability samples for drug products, following established analytical procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Utilize basic laboratory equipment and procedures, including pH testing, HPLC Assay, and Dissolution.
  • Document all laboratory testing activities meticulously, maintaining accurate and legible notebooks and records.
  • Participate in peer reviews of data, reports, and laboratory notebooks.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Alternatively, an Associate's degree in Chemistry or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical product analysis experience in a cGMP-regulated lab environment.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a non-science field with a minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical product analysis experience in a cGMP-regulated lab environment.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of cGMP, USP/NF, and FDA guidelines and regulations.
  • Experience in analytical methods and proficiency with lab instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, dissolution, wet chemistry).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with software associated with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and a Chromatography Data System (CDS).


Working Conditions:

  • Primary work conducted in a laboratory setting.
  • Minimal travel, less than 5%.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, ensuring the quality and compliance of drug products through meticulous laboratory testing and documentation.
