Materials Scientist

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work in the formulation of silicone, acrylic, polyurethane, and hydrogel adhesives and coatings.
• You will be responsible for staying informed and updating the company on emerging technologies that could impact products and markets.
• Using scientific and analytical methods, you will contribute to the development of new products, offering support to engineering teams during the scale-up and commercialization processes.
• You will also assess how design changes influence product performance and stability, providing detailed written reports throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications

• A degree in chemistry, preferably with a focus on polymer chemistry, is required.
• Ideal candidates will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in polymer formulation. Strong hands-on technical leadership, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential.
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a production setting is necessary, along with clear communication skills for working with colleagues, management, suppliers, and customers.
• Experience with polymers, adhesives, or coatings is desirable but not mandatory.
