Senior Supply Chain Planner

Boston $100,000 - $120,000 Permanent

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a comprehensive S&OP process, including meetings to review clinical and commercial demand and supply.
  • Define and regularly assess planning and inventory strategies for all relevant products and devices.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support S&OP performance and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • Oversee the operational execution of key strategic suppliers through extended S&OP and CMO oversight governance.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews with suppliers.
  • Manage deviations, drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), handle change controls, and resolve Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) as needed.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate various supply-related contracts.
  • Collaborate with legal and business teams to ensure contract terms comply with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation through execution and renewal or termination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records.
  • Resolve contract-related disputes in collaboration with legal and other relevant departments and implement strategies to prevent potential conflicts.
  • Act as the system owner for DSCSA-related activities, including ownership of the Tracelink system.
  • Manage the exception handling process for DSCSA compliance.
  • Manage inventory and production plans for several key items.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field.
  • Supply Chain certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, SCOR-P, CPM) are desirable.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of practical experience in Materials Planning and Purchasing.
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and materials management.
  • Experience in a CGMP/FDA regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems, 3PL, and CMO oversight.
  • Experience with compliant serialization in an FDA DSCSA environment.
  • Highly effective communication and negotiation skills with employees and supplier representatives.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
  • Ability to gown and access manufacturing areas.
  • May need to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
