Manufacturing Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce, test, and deliver high-quality, reproducible reagents on time.
• Follow established protocols to conjugate antibodies, prepare solutions, and produce nucleic acid reagents.
• Perform purification and buffer exchanges using standardized methods and materials.
• Characterize and quantify protein and nucleic acid reagents using methods like gel electrophoresis, western blots, UV-vis, and fluorescence.
• Document and summarize lab procedures and results, creating and reviewing batch records.
• Participate in problem-solving efforts as needed.
• Operate under a quality system with proper record keeping and compliance.
• Assist in training new hires.
• Participate in work center scheduling.
• Execute work orders in Netsuite.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a relevant life science field, OR an Associate degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or CLIA regulated environment.
• Knowledge of analytical methods and common wet-laboratory instruments.
• Ability to meticulously follow protocols and record results.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous laboratory experience with protein or nucleic acid reagents.
• Experience working under a quality system.
