Research Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of research materials, including solutions, reagents, and biological samples.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks, such as pipetting, centrifugation, and sample preparation.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist in the development of experimental protocols.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization, including washing glassware and disposing of hazardous waste.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Support data management efforts by organizing and documenting experimental data in electronic databases or notebooks.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, posters, and presentations.
• Collaborate with other research assistants and team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and seek opportunities for skill development and advancement within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, chemistry, or biochemistry.
• Previous laboratory experience through coursework, internships, or research projects is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to contribute to scientific research.
• Commitment to upholding high standards of integrity and professionalism.
