Manufacturing Associate II

Duties:

• Make, test and deliver on-time, high quality and highly reproducible reagents
• Use established protocols to conjugate antibodies, prepare solutions, and produce nucleic acid reagents
• Execute purification & buffer exchanges using standardized methods and bills of materials
• Characterize and quantify protein and nucleic acid based reagents with methods such as gel electrophoresis, western blots, UV-vis, or fluorescence
• Record and summarize all lab procedures and results: create and review batch records
• Participate in problem-solving efforts as required
• Operate under a quality system with proper record keeping and compliance
• Participate in new hire training
• Participate in workcenter scheduling
• Execute work orders in Netsuite

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or other relevant life science field OR Associate degree.
• 2-5 years of experience within Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, and Life sciences.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or CLIA regulated environment
• Knowledge of analytical methods and common wet-laboratory instruments like Micropipetting.
• Ability to meticulously carry out protocols and record results
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Previous laboratory experience with protein or nucleic acid reagents
• Experience working under a quality system
