Chemist

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct experiments to develop new products or improve existing ones.
• Synthesize, purify, and characterize chemical compounds.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into commercial products.
• Prepare and test chemical samples, using a variety of analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, NMR).
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results.
• Ensure all laboratory practices comply with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform quality control testing on raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for product testing and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product quality or laboratory processes.
• Ensure all chemical processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation required for regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
• 1-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or materials science industries.
• Experience with various analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy) and instrumentation.
