Indianapolis 19 - 24 p/h Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of laboratory equipment and methods.
· Record and interpret test results accurately and promptly. Document findings in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP) and company policies. Participate in audits and inspections as needed.
· Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes effectively.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the laboratory. Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred. Associates degree with relevant experience may be considered.
· Previous experience in a quality control laboratory preferred. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) is advantageous.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to follow procedures accurately and efficiently. Proficient in using laboratory equipment and computer software for data analysis.
· Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with colleagues at all levels.
