Environmental Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for proposed projects, analyzing potential effects on air, water, soil, and ecosystems.
• Provide recommendations for minimizing or mitigating environmental impact.
• Stay abreast of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and ensure that clients remain compliant.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
• Perform environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II) to identify potential contamination and assess overall environmental risk.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address findings and propose remediation strategies.
• Manage environmental projects from initiation to completion, including coordinating field investigations, data collection, and analysis.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to client expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their environmental concerns and providing strategic advice.
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
• Prepare detailed and accurate environmental reports, including EIAs, site assessment findings, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Present findings to clients and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including engineers, scientists, and regulatory agencies, to ensure comprehensive and integrated environmental solutions.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Proven experience in managing complex environmental projects and delivering results within scope and budget.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
