Conduct routine inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Document and report inspection results, including any deviations or defects, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Operate and maintain testing equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.
Monitor and analyze process parameters and product characteristics to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
Participate in internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methods, and procedures.
Proficiency in using measuring tools, testing equipment, and software applications related to quality control.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
